What makes a great leader?
I constantly look for ways to improve my leadership skills and to know who is a true leader as this can be vital knowledge to improve your ability to produce results.
A great leader has a clear vision, uses influence and example to motivate people to be more productive, creative and progress in their life because they care.
Managers and leaders are different, even though they have the same goal of producing results.
Leaders aspire to develop a strong team of individuals who create results productively long term were managers aspire to develop strong systems that can be replicated to create results long term.
Both leaders and managers are vital. A leader needs a manager to put systems in place so they can show and motivate individuals to do the task to the best of their ability.
People can be both managers and leaders as they are both skill sets that can be learned.
Many people believe leaders are born with a unique ability such as charisma but, most leadership skills such as charisma can be developed and learned through time and motivation.
Leadership is understanding what individuals individually need to produce their most creative and productive work and motivating them do so. To be a leader you need to care about the person you are leading like a brother or sister so you want to go the extra mile to see them succeed.
